As this blog is a series of posts about my life experiences, I thought I’d post a series of photographs from my early ‘twenties which my boyfriend at that time has just sent me. It was quite a surprise, I really didn’t see myself as attractive as I was at that time, but these photos did bring back good memories. for me.
Me and my flatmate in 1970 – I have no idea why we decided to get ourselves togged out in nightwear or why I decided to pop a tea cosy on my head and look totally mad!
Bradford, 1997
Hyde Park, London, 1967
London, 1969
London, 1969/70
Stuttgart, 1968, in my third year abroad while at the University of Bradford, standing on the steps of the women’s hostel where I lived during my stay in the city.
Strasbourg, 1969 – the second half of my third year abroad while at the University of Bradford. Here I studied at the University of Strasbourg (actually, I played hookey most of the time, I hated my time in Strasbourg!).
So freakin’ cute, Mo!! I loved seeing these photos of you!! ♡

It’s so fabulous to see what we looked like and remember what we were up to. I was never that trendy!

I never saw myself as trendy either, had no self-confidence in those days. Quite surprised to see those photos after all this time.
